Knoxville gets Lost

If you've travelled East on I-40 you might have seen the big "Oceanic Airlines" billboard. It now has graffiti on it that says "FIND815.COM" which is, of course, all a reference to the ABC program "Lost."

Why Knoxville? You might think these billboards are everywhere. I don't think so. What I do know is that our town is significant in the story of Lost because one of the main characters, Sawyer, is from Knoxville. We named one of our cats after Sawyer...

Once again, Knoxville is a cool town.

I did not know that Sawyer is from Knoxville. It did take me about 10 trips past that billboard before I figured out what the "grafitti" said. Ahh, shameless marketing...

I had no idea Sawyer was from Knoxville! I remember him saying he was from Tennessee, but I don't remember Knoxville specifically.

Unless Sawyer can lower my gas prices in Knoxville, I could care less where he is from or who he is. Does he effect anyone here?? As for the sign, could we move it to Turkey Creek? Oh, and why is Turkey Creek labeled as premier shopping when they have a Wal-Mart. Not much premier here--Belk is a joke too, so why not signs covered in grafitti--I would love it

Scott, Sawyer is a fictional character, as is Oceanic. Sorry if that wakes you up from the Matrix.

You've got a point about Turkey Creek tho ;-)

I haven't ever seen Lost, but I had been wondering about that weird billboard for some time. I thought it was some kind of weird vandalism and was confused why they hadn't cleaned it up yet lol
