Why does the Knoxville County Sherriff's Office need a Facebook page?
1. Is this a wise expenditure of tax dollars, really? What's the net benefit to the taxpayer?
2. If your answer was "to foster dialog between police and community" maybe you'll be happy to know the page isn't really interested in dialog.
How do I know? Because they keep deleting Katie Allison-Granju's comments. Immediately. On a Sunday night.
Thank goodness all crimes in Knox county have been solved and we can focus on what's important: Getting more Friends than the Nashville Metro Police department! GO VOLS!

Hi Victor! Can you answer a question for me? Maybe this is better taken offline. You can reply to me offline if you wish. I am trying to figure out why Knoxville's bloggers dislike their city so much. Is it that bad? I'm confused. One of you is "Stuck Inside Urban Knoxille" and you call it a "scruffy city." Please help me understand. I think Tennessee is "all that" and I will admit that Nashville is what I fell in love with, but, what's wrong with Knoxville???
