This is why we can't have nice things
Look, if you are sick of running a business just say "I don't want to do this any more" and stop with the drama bombs. This is Knoxville, not Seattle.
I'm referring to the supposed "reason" for the Valarium closing. And Ciderhouse, I suppose. I love those buildings, but there's a lot of work that could be done around the area to make it more amenable to humans going there. The fact that they've said they were having financial difficulties doesn't surprise me in the least. From the way I've seen venues come and go around here it's like watching a goat drive a supertanker into the drive through window at Petro's.
Anyway, funny thing is the rules that were supposedly changing that were causing the closure aren't actually changing.
